Beat 33: Berrio Mill – River Lynher
SX 319710 – SX 315713 650m of single left hand bank
The Lynher is characterised by predominantly riffle-run sections and pocket water with occasional deep pools. This compact but varied section has 5 good holding pools and offers the chance of sea trout and salmon through the season, with the best of the trout fishing coming in May and June. Lightly fished in 2016 compared to previous years, despite this good numbers of brown trout and a sea trout came to hand.
