SX 43482 83288 – SX 41512 84761     84761  2.6km mixed single and double bank

An extensive beat set in the superb Elizabethan Estate surroundings with 12 good pools and many nice runs for both fly fishing and spinning.  There is a chance of a salmon from mid-May given adequate water and it is best fished as the river clears after a spate.  Sea trout from late June and best fished for at dawn/dusk with a run of larger fish from mid-April, which can provide great day time sport.  Rods were a little down  on last year but still produced hundreds of brown trout to 13’’,  peal and some of the biggest grayling on the Passport.
