The Passport Beats

Find great fishing on rivers across Devon and Cornwall

The Angling Passport scheme is a sheer delight for the roving angler.CCDposter

It is operated through a unique token payment system, which allows anglers to access any of the participating fisheries when they want and without the need to contact anyone beforehand.

There is a vast choice of fishing on offer through the scheme; from the rushing moorland streams with wily, pocket-sized brown trout to the languid, meandering lowland streams with good mayfly hatches and their large brown trout; short spate rivers containing good runs of peal and also coarse fishing on the River Culm at Champerhaies (Beat 3).  Stillwater coarse and game fishing is also available on the South West Lakes Trust reservoirs (Beat 37).  PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A VALID EA ROD LICENCE BEFORE FISHING.

It is important that everyone takes care to prevent the spread of Invasive species.  Anglers must check-clean-dry their equipment and footwear / clothing when moving between water bodies.
